Darling Cellars Wild Flower Hanepoot Jeripigo NV

Hanepoot has been an old favourite for many years! Hanepoot wines are made from Muscat d’ Alexandrie, which is called Hanepoot locally. Jerepiko (also spelled Jerepigo) is a red or white wine, produced without fermentation – grape juice is fortified with grape spirit, which prevents fermentation. It is very sweet, with substantial unfermented grape flavours.

Darling Cellars has now released a Hanepoot Jerepigo in our Wildflower range. Just the wine to sip while sitting in front of the fire on a cold winter’s evening! The wine is fresh and zesty with a rich sweetness and ends with a lengthy and vibrant finish.
