A deep ruby red colour, expressive range of flavours which include red cherries, raspberry, strawberry, spice, white pepper, candy floss and mulberry. The wine is backed by a good structure with soft supple tannins which lends to good length of fruit on the palate. A well put together balanced wine for all occasions.

Other	1996 heralded a new era for the region of Darling with the establishment of the private cellar: Darling Cellars (Pty) Limited. With its unique terroir and the demarcation of the area as Wine of Origin Darling in 2003, the focus is on producing wines that are region and varietal true. Although Malbec originated from Cahors, France, centuries ago, it is Argentina who in the last 20 years has taken this grape and made it so trendy. The grapes for this wine come from one producer in the Darling, delivering a South African Malbec to put onto the world stage and give all a taste of Darling!
